Pagers for Emergencies

  • Swissphone Pagers for Emergency Situations
  • Pager Terminals in more detail
In an emergency, it is crucial that first responders can be quickly reached at any location and in the most challenging circumstances.

Swissphone terminals reliably alert you even in the most remote locations. Our wide range of powerful and robust pagers and terminals enable digital or analogue alerting and transmit messages in either text or voice. They enable secure two-way communication, allowing responders to acknowledge an alert or give feedback on their status. While working alone or in hazardous environments, first responders and employees need the most reliable system to be able to call for help. Via the SOS-Portal, our devices not only allow you to call for help but will automatically call for help, if you have an accident.

The RES.Q terminal combines a reliable alarm via POCSAG with an integrated cellular module, GPS, and an emergency call button.

The integrated IoT cellular module based on the LTE standard enables hybrid alerting, using cellular networks as a separate alerting channel for enhanced resilience. It also supports different forms of feedback before and after an alert, increasing the efficiency and speed of alerting and mobilisation.

The terminal reads out alphanumeric messages for you.

Text and speech alerting in one device. This is made possible thanks to an integrated digital language processor. What’s more, the device also shows the message on the display.

The s.QUAD is impressive with its robustness, outstanding reception, and its alerting volume.

The s.QUAD X35 pager alerting device stands out on account of its functional design and outstanding reception performance. The multi-coloured LED, volume and the option to play individual audio melodies for alerting round out the s.QUAD X35. The s.QUAD pager is dust and waterproof.

The sturdy, convenient s.QUAD ATEX pager was designed for individuals who work in dangerous, hazardous environments and have to be reachable at all times.

The pager can even be used in the most sensitive zones without risk thanks to its protective measures and because it is passive to radiation.

The TRIO lone worker alarm system terminal is able to detect emergency situations and independently submits an emergency call that includes the lone worker’s current position.

In addition, an audible alarm from the TRIO itself helps to locate the distressed person. If the lone worker is still capable, he/she can call for help on his/her own by pressing an emergency button. Optionally, an emergency call will be escalated from the TRIO until someone responds to it and initiates rescue actions.

MS POCSAG Makes it easy to send messages, monitor networks and operate contacts remotely.

The MS POCSAG LAN and MS POCSAG USB RS232 monitor receivers send messages over Ethernet or an RS232 interface. POCSAG networks are easy to monitor with the help of definable address ranges. They are configured via USB or LAN. The MS POCSAG USB RS232 I/O version additionally supports six output contacts, which are activated by a switch command.

LED large display with integrated POCSAG receiver.

The large 4-line LED display is designed for displaying text messages in alarm and notification systems. The proportional font makes it possible to read messages up to 100 characters long at a glance. If longer messages are received, the display automatically scrolls the message line by line from bottom to top in steps of seconds. After reaching the last line, this display process starts again after one second of blanking. The entire display time ends after 30 minutes or after receiving a new message. When a new message is received, the previous one is deleted and the new one is displayed.

In a critical situation, your people need quick and reliable help.

To guarantee this, Swissphone products can offer various personal alarms with a comprehensive emergency solution. The core response is handled via our SOS-Portal: a comprehensive, web-based software solution that controls the reporting, localisation, escalation, and all-inclusive documentation of incidents, as well as the management of participants. Swissphone’s TRIO or smartphone app solutions are available as emergency call devices, both providing indoor and outdoor localisation, in case of an alarm.

The SOS-Portal is a web-based, redundant and platform-independent emergency call system to enable simple event processing.

It offers the possibility of quickly and simply making contact with auxiliary persons and similar, of processing the alarm in accordance with a predefined rescue process and of documenting it. The SOS-Portal visualises the localisation of the accident victims. It shows the position of outdoor accident victims on a map (outdoor localisation). The positions of people waiting for help within a building are shown on a map of the building (indoor localisation).

The smart emergency call triggering for every situation.

In critical situations, a silent alarm can be easily and quickly triggered with the SOS-Button. It is transmitted by Bluetooth (BLE) to the corresponding SOS-Gateway, and from there to the SOS-Portal.

IoT technology for indoor tracking.

Accurate location reporting, both within buildings and other work areas is critical in alarm situations. An SOS beacon enables real-time localisation in buildings. Thanks to the cost-effective beacons, reliable indoor positioning is guaranteed with the SOS Mobile App (Andorid and iOS) and the TRIO personal emergency call device. The beacons are available in different versions, offering a variety of features: Discreetly small, long battery life, waterproof etc.

SOS-Mobile App - Easy-to-use emergency application for quick alerting.

The SOS Mobile Emergency Call Application increases security for lone workers at dangerous work stations. In hazardous situations, the application automatically triggers an emergency call and simultaneously sends out the employee’s positional data. An acoustic alarm makes it easier to find the accident victim. If the accident victim is still capable of doing so, he or she can press the emergency signal button to trigger an emergency call. The emergency call can be escalated until emergency assistance measures are initiated. The SOS-Mobile App also allows the remote processing of pending alarms.

ecom Loc-Ex® For use in Non-Ex, Zone 2, Zone 1.

The beacons are available for ATEX / IECEx Zone 1 (Loc-Ex 01) and for industrial use (Loc 01 HC and Loc 01 SC). Due to their UV-resistant housing material they can be used both, indoors and outdoors. The beacons can be mounted direct on a suitable surface or easily adapted on the optional available mounting plate.
